No one has taken up the offer to revise and re-file our initiative to legalize marijuana in California.
Meanwhile, word on the street is that the TaxCannabis initiative has collected enough signatures to qualify for the ballot in 2010. Congratulations to the professionals and volunteers that got this big job done for TaxCannabis in just a couple of months.
Remember, on the CCI team Peter Keyes got 1,622 signatures in about two months, Tim got his 1,000 in about 2 months, and a fellow named Gordon did too. Larry Laws in SoCal says he has 6,000 and the TaxCannabis team has gotten it done in about 2 months. As of this writing we still have MORE than 2 months left to qualify for the 2010 ballot. In fact there are 77 days left, and the busy shopping season is just getting started. We still have the best initiative and time to get enough signatures to qualify for the 2010 ballot.
